glad that worked for you Matt. didnt do it for me unfortunately..only disconnecting and reconnecting entry module did teh trick so i am getting that replaced per dealer recommendation. hope you dont run into this, it sucks but soething to keep in mind anyways :-p

the truck is sealed so nothign comes through. I went ahead an upgraded the existing sub but that's only a 6.5 incher. any one added a trunk sub to one of those? if so, how? :headbang:
what do the upgraded wheels look like? versus what's stock?
maybe that would make it easier for people to recommend one versus the other.

just wish that the dealer techs could be more re-assuring. dont think it is unreasonable to expect that after spending high bucks ona viper. hope i am not alone here :-)
i tried the re-sync after disabling alarm through the keyhole in glove box but that didnt help in my case. dont have extended warranty either, hance the concerns if it will even fix my issue or as the dealer is stating that it just might happen again :-(

Troy, you are lucky you got teh upgraded sound. thats what i am struggling with. I may just bypass the stock amp all togather and run new RCA cables from teh new strereo to aNEW amp to NEW speakers :-( why did you remove the CATS? i actually had the pipes...
thanks Matt i did , just didnt see anything conlusive. some suggestions were around re-wiring the whole thing, new stereo and new speakers and new amp while others required splicing and soldering. was wondering if there is any other ideas out there.
