    glad that worked for you Matt. didnt do it for me unfortunately..only disconnecting and reconnecting entry module did teh trick so i am getting that replaced per dealer recommendation. hope you dont run into this, it sucks but soething to keep in mind anyways :-p

    how to add a rear sub (boxed) to an 00 RT/10?

    the truck is sealed so nothign comes through. I went ahead an upgraded the existing sub but that's only a 6.5 incher. any one added a trunk sub to one of those? if so, how? :headbang:

    well i cant risk running into this again so I am moving forward with replacing the entry module. If this was a sure fix, i wouldnt even think twice about it but apparently that's not the case. I do appreciate your guidance Ulysses. THANKYOU!

    just wish that the dealer techs could be more re-assuring. dont think it is unreasonable to expect that after spending high bucks ona viper. hope i am not alone here :-)

    stereo upgrade for 00 rt/10

    thanks Matt i did , just didnt see anything conlusive. some suggestions were around re-wiring the whole thing, new stereo and new speakers and new amp while others required splicing and soldering. was wondering if there is any other ideas out there.

    Amps that will replace the OEM amp cleanly?

    hey y'all, did we ever figure this one out? i have a 00 rt/10 and wouold only like to upgrade the stereo heead if possible (to start). kinda struggling with this one as i didnt find any harness for it. would appreciate any help.
