Re: If you\'re within 100 miles of Chicago, call Fields Dodge (Tom Burek)!
Thanks again Tom, the tranny feels great. It runs alot smoother and of course that annoying ticking is gone.
I'D BEAT HIS A$$ NHL STYLE! I cannot for the life of me figure this out. 1700 RPM in nuetral while cruising and as soon as I come to a stop like clockwork it "usually" drops back to normal. On a hard run it will pause at a 1000 at a stop then seconds later back to normal. I've been trying to...
Re: If you\'re within 100 miles of Chicago, call Fields Dodge (Tom Burek)!
Kaval,
Wow, your close what color is your car (I've seen a black GTS a couple times, mine is silver)? You should go to "Cars under the stars" in downtown Elmhurst on wednesdays out of 1000 cars I'm the only Viper...
If you\'re within 100 miles of Chicago, call Fields Dodge (Tom Burek)!
I just want to say thanks and give a pat on the back to Tom (The Service Manager) and Mike (The Viper Tech) and the rest of the crew at Fields Dodge in Glenview, IL. These guys are just awesome, I've been taking my car to...
If the heads are ported only (Blower heads), that works greatly to your advantage as this will have lowered your compression allowing you to run more boost, however with Seans setup the lack of an intercooler kind of negates that fact but at least you'll be ready for it. Some people get their...
I'm in hot chicago traffic all the time and my car runs at the same temps it did before I put the blower on. Actually it runs a bit cooler because of the headers and exhaust with no cats, it's just alot louder now. Were you're heads shaved as well, blowers don't like high compression; stock I...
Beat the living c.r.a.p. out of it on a test drive. Take an on-ramp at 80, followed by a Launch from a stop light at 4500 and then while your on the express way pull the emergency brake and cut the wheel. If you don't like the way it performed hand the keys back. J/K Start under the car and work...
WTF! That's not fair!
Geez, next I bet we'll hear it's gonna become a DIY kit. :o
Then I'll really be pissed!
All jokes aside, that is simply awesome. Now lets see how long you can beat on it until the stock internals give. There lies the true test.
Nice Job! :D :usa:
Who needs a stereo? I make my own music! It goes something lik this: Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh Waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh pop pop pop crackle crackle!!!
I don't want to give up boost either, but I guess I'm a freak that way. I want the best of both worlds. My car runs awesome otherwise, it's just a little irritating as an every day driver during "idle and low rpm cruise". But after I floor it I tend to not be as irritated ;) . Sean, I've tried...
Thanks Sean, I appreciate the input. I'll try the Autolites and post my results. I will say that my current plugs have endured quite a bit of tuning, so maybe there just tired. I've checked the plugs and compared them to the photos on Bosch's website and they appear to have a little soot on them...
I've been having some cold start issues with my bosch supers since day one and after talking to Dave (Roe Racing) this afternoon he said give the stockers a shot. I just wanted to know if anyone has had success with this.
