    TNT rear mount turbo

I was waiting for this thread to start, saw it on the alley being debated. As far as the patent goes, you can apply them to anything that already exists. All's it has to be is an alteration to fit the viper and walla you have a patentable product. The USPTO has strict limitations on how abstract...

    Newbie Looking For Info...

Wiehl, As an ex-wrench turned IT manager (computer's grabbed me), the Viper is a relatively easy car to work on. It's a hot-rod through and through, it's very mechanical there's not much more to it electronically (outside of the single PCM, coilpacks, and the wire harness), unlike my...

    A must see: Priceless!

I bought it from Home depot. It's in the hardware section, it comes with: (3) Different sized spiral knit polishing wheels. (4) Bars of compound (1) Drill adapter I used my electric Makita (high speed hammer drill), with the hammer function turned off of course. The high speed drill is a must...

They're just for the occasional warm day or at the track, I live in the burbs so the roads are pretty well maintained. Thanks for the advice.

    A must see: Priceless!

I'm putting Nitto 555R (Drag Radials) on them so they will just be a on/off swap set. But thanks for the advice, I think I will probably do the inside as well.

    Anyone try this thing?

There's a guy I work with that drives a new cobra, he just came in my office raving about this thing. He said he put it on before he left for Florida last week and was completely shocked because it actually worked. He said he couldn't believe it, he thought it was BS when he heard about it but...

    Harmonic balancer loose

Balancer 101: A. Always use red loc-tite when putting bolt back in. B. Any warranty on the crank is voided if it's been pinned and then get's damaged. (crank is around $4000 not including labor) C. Check your balancer pulley every once in a while when the car is running, if it's loose you'll...

If Idle Hang were a person.......

I found that the smaller I went the better it got, but at a cost. When I restricted the IAC that much, I found that when cold my idle would hunt from 500-1000-500 and sometimes it would fall on it's face to around 200RPM. Talk about embarassing, nothing like your viper almost dying out infront...

    New halfshaft with Roe S/C

So your telling me that because your pilots hooked to hard  you busted the halfshafts? Or you did you wheelhop, there's a big difference. Wheelhop will do it everytime. I've been running stock halfshafts and pilots for a year now problem free. I wonder if you had faulty parts.

    New halfshaft with Roe S/C

I'm stupid, I didn't notice that IEATVETS had a genI. :o My bad. But, I still maintain that on a genII they're not needed with pilots.

    New halfshaft with Roe S/C

Redsnake, it's easy to recommend halfshafts when you have a sig like that, Jeez! Remember, we are but mere mortals living in the land of 600-700HP/TQ. In our world they are a waste of $ for everyday use. I've run hard enough to sheer my roll pins in my balancer twice. I honestly don't...

    New halfshaft with Roe S/C

Whoa, wait a minute before you toss $1000 out the window, first off decide on what you want to do with your power. By this I mean are you going to run Kumho's or drag radials (DR's) and take the car to the strip, if so then by all means go for it. But, if you are going to stick to your pilots...
