This is an almost 6th sense kind of story.
Some of you have read my posts as well as my replies to other's posts on big brake upgrades for my `94 RT. I had met up with Dave666 at a charity event in December and wore his ear out talking about "big brakes". Brakes were definately on the 2010...
Thank goodness we finally have an execution date instead of being tortured on death row with no end in sight.
Lets think about the mentality of the Italians when it comes to motorsports...I think if you offered an Italian 2nd place in a race or death they would choose death.
The Viper is...
Biker's misconception #1....again.
Shooter - you know you can't beat a bike in that FE - simply with some fancy intake mod like this: TORNADO Air Management Systems :: More Power! More Mileage!:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Maybe the guy started having problems from running on 87 octane...
Busa,
About the 87 octane - if you say so. I'm sure I can turn up a dyno chart somewhere on the net that verifies it. Does it sound right to me - no. I guess the computer can retard the timing enough but as for making more power - I don't see how, unless you are saying it makes more power at...
Busa,
I gave the big bikes their due credit in bold type:
Stock for stock - you're right. Your $13k scooter is gonna win every time:2tu:
You brought up a few key points:
"I don't drag race - however, if you'd like to see the time slips for friends of mine that do on these bikes, indicating...
You're picking on the stock Gen 2 Vipers:nono:
Bikes are stupid fast from 60-120 (a big one like your's is more like 60-140) They all run out of steam on the top end. Their speedometers read 15+ mph faster than the bike will actually go at those speeds (guys in 600's running 180+ indicated...
You guys never notice us flashing our lights behind you to move out of the way...but you always notice the finger...I don't get it. It's almost the same way on the race track:lmao::lmao::lmao:
...cheap shot at the Vette guys...can't help myself...
Shank,
I think these are the teaser pics...I want to see the real pics, may have to post them on the Alley... Everyone knows the deal "don't touch unless your naked".
A downside of cell phones is that, especially while inside metal buildings, they without notice, drop the calls... Glad this phenomena did not happen to you.:nono:
Jon is a PITA about 1/2 the time but he does have wonderful prices on parts and really knows his stuff. He's in the pacific NW...
I think the payments are too hardcore.... Let's see: Gen4 or a Z06 & a own payment on a house.
Gen3 leases expiring and the balloon is more than the value of the car.
I think it is mainly a factor of dollars - not the vehicle.

Don't mind the reschedule - we really need the wet stuff!
Here's the answer from the SRT engineers. Figured I'd post here for future searches.
Looks like the main reason I steer clear of OEM oil filters (paper/cellulose filter media) is no longer an issue. The New SRT oil filter has synthetic filter media - awesome!!!! These guys really did think...
Dallas Dodge (Plano Rd. & 635) - Talk to Bill Marshall, great guy. That's where I get the NTX portion of my fleet serviced as well as the SRTs when I'm passing thru. Make sure you talk to Bill.
I feel if the Viper is going to go "main stream" and have a mainframe installed in the trunk the let it die on top! Please don't let the viper go the way of the Mustang. It took almost 25 years to get the "Mustang" back (1970-2005), same with the Camero, Challenger. The Viper is the wild...
Where's the button for white hood vents?
Dave,
Just admit it, TX sucks! We're crawling with immigrants and foreigners. TX is really another word for "sh!thole". Everyone should avoid this place like the plague. Don't come visit, don't vacation here & for sure don't relocate here to work...
