I'm not a big fan of super high fuel pressures, and definitely not of excessively high duty cycles. Some injectors will operate well above 80% DC, others wont. As a general rule, it's not good practice to do so. Spec the injectors for <80% DC if you're replacing them anyway.
I'd go with...
If you run a healthy shot of meth injection I think you'd be okay assuming the tuning was done well. Adding a decent octane booster or some race gas would be a really good idea if you go this route.
How did you go about choosing those turbos? I think you're going to have a lot of back pressure and be wheezing for air on the top end. Otherwise, it looks go so far. :)
Thanks guys for the info and tips. Surprisingly, I haven't had any issues yet with the current brake system that's on the car (I bought it this way), but I haven't had it on the track either which would no doubt show I needed more rear bias.
It looks like I'll probably get the back half of...
I have SRT brakes in the front of my 96 GTS and I'm interested in moving the factory front calipers to the rear. I'm sure this has been done, so could anyone tell me what's involved? Does someone make the adapter brackets, or do I have to fab these myself? If so, are they just machined 3/8"...
I personally hope they kill the Viper line all together. Doing this would increase the value of our cars as collectors items in the future. Actually, I wish they gave the Viper name/platform the ax at the end of the 2nd gen.
As mentioned, Heffner is a known and respected tuner. CPE offers an aftermarket TT kit. Not to say there's anything wrong with the CPE TT kit, but a Heffner or UG turbo car will bring better money and will hold its value better.
I agree with 1fast400, UG is tops when it comes to TT systems...
