Great point. After a rough day I'll sometimes tell my wife "we're low on milk, I'm gonna run to the store" or "how about a video rental"? She knows those are code words for: Need 15 minutes away from reality in the Viper to clear my mind! Works every time. :)- FinalEd357

Regarding collectibility: The FE is a 1 of 360 car (out of 760 GTS built in '02) and there were roughly 6,500 total GTS built between '96 -'02. I commonly brouse ebay: for one to see prices, but also just to see what people have done with thier Vipers. I found my Viper on Ebay, but waited for the auction to end (didn't sell) to call the dealer and purchased the car the old fashioned way. The above mentioned comment about this GTS-R...- FinalEd357

Still no production date on the 08?
I think it would be great not to offer those 2 combos for 3 reasons: There will be enough other great combos, to preserve the integrity of the '06 special editions and to listen to the membership. All 3 provide exactly what many Vipers want: Exclusivity and input. Who could fault them for that?- FinalEd357

Profit on Gen 111 or Gen 4
I've heard the base price of a porsche is nothing compared to the price w/ all extras and customs. Perhaps that is where the monster profits in this ad take place, if it is indeed accurate.- FinalEd357

Mamba Edition
All mamba editions were 1 of 200, but the '04 white is more rare based on being white. Only several other editions have been white and all have been limited. No performance mods, just interior accents and red badging on hood emblem, side Viper moldings, etc. I love the black '04 w/ red mod int.- FinalEd357

VOI9 Coupe & GTS-R
I agree with many that the '98 GTS-R is the most collectible Viper. It celebrated the '97 FIA GT2 Champ, and '98 24 hrs @ LeMans win.
