Just requires removing the knee bolster on the driver's side. The module is strapped to the center console and easily accessible.
I have read that replacing the module has fixed the problem for some. Again, it's electronics, and flakey at that, so it's 50/50 whether it fixes your problem or not.
Happens from time to time with mine. Not often and hasn't happened in a while.
I usually disable the alarm with the keyhole in the glove box. Then I re-synch the fob to the entry module by holding the two buttons down at the same time until the horn honks.

Wow! Good site. I read every section of the Vehicle code mentioned on this site and it is true. Only problem is that most of this pertains to California V.C.
When you hit the rev limiter, it usually makes a pop sound that scares the crap out of you and the fuel gets cut off, but it usually recovers very quickly when you back off the rpms.
That is the surge tank (pressurized coolant bottle), the coolant recovery bottle (reserve tank) is in the facia. You most likely had lost quite a bit of coolant and it all got sucked out of the surge tank back into the coolant system.
There are wires that run underneath along the tranny. They have been a problem spot for some before. If your tranny was vibrating as bad as you say it was, it's quite possible the vibration wore away at the wires and caused a short. Just a guess, since it's really hard to diagnose these things...
