    Post mortem showed battery was completely dry, Im wondering that maybe my battery tender did not shut down when fully charged and cooked it

    Its the battery, i think its the original 2004 battery, i had exactly the same with my golf cart battery anyway, changed it for a new one and all is good, the old one is completely dead and will be in the classifieds..........

    Had my battery on tender for a few days, went to go out today and it was stone dead and the battery was very hot. Maybe the battery shorted out?
