A more appropriate comparison would be to a GTSR with splitter, canards and wing giving a more aggressive race car appearance. I'll take the GEN II GTSR.:2tu:
I have the same splitter on my GTS. I had a body/paint shop fill in the slots and paint and mounted the splitter with a total of 13 rivets flanking and behind the slots. I've seen another one mounted the same way. I've run the car up to 190 mph and it's still there. The mounting hardware was not...
Are the stripes on your old GTS vinyl? If so, where in the DFW area did you get them done? What width and center gap did you use? What grade/thickness of vinyl? TIA.:D
Agree. Absolutely stupid to ruin the performance of a VIPER with 20" wheels. Even with bigger rotors it's just stupid and still looks stupid. Just buy an Escalade with 22s and call it a day.
After reading this thread, I'm glad I had my Viper Tech install Dave's bracket and pulley. Even he had to cut my OEM pulley off. Money well spent.:rolaugh:
Re: Mysterious leak around oil pan. I have tried every suggestion thus far. Please he

Dealer put ATF in my power steering system. I have a '98 GTS and it is supposed to have Mopar Power Steering Fluid. ATF breaks down the rubber seals and hoses. The fluid has been in the car for 2 weeks and only driven about 8 miles home from the dealer.
How long does it take for the ATF to...
Personally, I'd sell my house and downsize with no mortgage and pocket some cash before selling my GTS. Housing has at least another 20% to drop and that is more relative depreciation dollars than on the Viper. In addition, the Viper will appreciate more in the next 10 to 20 years than any house...
Mine didn't break, however, I am being preemptive and just got the bracket and the pulley and will be installing this week in my '98 GTS. Dave's billet parts are beautiful and no way they are going to break. Link below. Did your's break while driving? Any other damage? Good luck.
Dave's...
Any updates on this? What is the best way to inspect? Do you just check visually or use dye as previously mentioned? I this a design or material failure? TIA.
