and you went to Harrisonburg for a dyno pull? That's a extended Sunday drive from Fairfax LOL
You engine would respond nicely with headers, cats and cat back.
Too rich at the high end and too lean at the low end is typical of the factory tune. A VEC2 or a DC flash will make a noticeable...

The owner of the shop said a stone would hit them in a day or 2 and make a ding anyway. BS!!
This statement is a red flag, not something you would expect from a car guy.

After a short crank of the key the open headers exploded with sound (beautiful music!) he ran out side. OK, not the right car for him.
This explains it, typical Vette owner that has no appreciation for high performance cars.
From the picture the port mismatch is evident but the bolt holes don't match either. If you overlay the two gaskets do the holes match? Have you done a header test fit without the gasket?
The Borla gasket looks similar to Belangers. This type of gasket works fine IF the header bolt torque is...
Re: Roe Racing Can\'t Reccomend A Good Tuner For There S/C...SAD
I'm with Steve.
The basic 5 lb setup is OK with stock program cards but when W/M, heads, and rockers, are added together with more boost, fine tuning with constant A/F monitoring is necessary for safe operation.
I never had...
Kelly I checked out their site but don't see a fee schedule. What does a 1 year membership cost? It's temperature controlled but most everyone was wearing coats. What is the temp range?
yeh I am looking for a winter project too
headers are in my mind, seems Belangers are popular with the Viper owners here...? I have an '01 GTS, stock-intake/exhaust
Ran a Roe S/C (5lb) with factory headers, Roe oval cats and Corsa on my 2001 GTS for about 1 year and then installed...

It is amazing how clever advertising (deceptive) can trick the uninformed public into spending their hard earned $$.
Next they will be selling estate lots (swamp land) in the Everglades.
Yes the door mod needed depends on your existing door setup, ceiling height, the lock points of the lift, the height and type of cars you are parking and your height, if you intend to stand to work under the car.
I needed 70" to park a SUV underneath and being 6"2" this is a good working height...
This is the operator I used. The contractor would not install it because of a history of problems and poor customer support. However not a single issue with my unit.
Slick setup, does not require wiring for the button controls or external light module.
I had a door contractor modify my door and it was not a 20min job. First trip they took measurements and ordered the tracks which were custom made for my application. The second trip all the components were installed but they could not fit the door operator, not enough space between the door and...
Re: Gauge post/pods for Gen I\'s???????????
My GTS was used to fabricate the GEN II mold. If a car is not readily available for test fits it won't happen anytime soon. What I thought could be done in just 2 or 3 fittings took ?(I lost count) Since the pattern maker passed my home in route to...
I hope you listened to this car live, as in next to the car. This sounds like Belangers to me. Before ordering visit a Viper meet and compare the various systems.
No OEM shields or any shields on my installation. It has been posted that this is unsafe but with a Roe S/C I have experienced no heat related issues.
Avoid using the paper gaskets supplied with Bellanger Headers. The metal OEM gaskets are a better option. The paper gaskets are OK if you...
I used this:

good to 700 deg.F and O2 sensor safe.
In service for over a year with no leaks, available at Advanced Auto.
Which header is best? There will be more opinions on that subject than space permits.
No kidding!
I hammered a Cadillac STS rental car through that area, would do 120 on the steep inclines and averaged 9 mpg on the trip. All I saw were Subaru Outbacks and a scattering of other 4x4s, wanna guess why. LOL
Nice numbers Andres :2tu:
Refering to the graph, why are the A/F values for the left and right bank so far appart? Why the spikes in A/F curve? There is major boost creep, did you see that much with the 5 and 6.5 lb pulley?
Re: Did you guys pay sticker price on your gen 2\'s?
Purchased the 2001 GTS new in 11/01, I guess it was a model year leftover, and paid dealer invoice.
Dodge changed from 6V to 12V in 1956. 12V was necessary to power the high tech options like power antennas, autotune radios with tooo many vacuum tubes and the record player option. LOL
