Dyno was a dynojet. Car is a 98 GTS with 10000 miles.

Highest Corrected WHP/WTQ was 410/449

I was pretty happy with the results. The only mods are smooth tubes, K&Ns, and a Vipair. Im running rich up top after 5500RPM, but the AF curve the rest of the band is pretty darned good.

1st Run - 399/441
2nd Run - 398/438 (didnt let the car cool down)
3rd Run - 410/449 (let the car cool down for 20 mins before run)

Very tempted to get an exhaust/cats/headers/DC Reprogram

I'll have a scanned sheet up later.

Nice numbers! :2tu:
Check into a PCM re-tune, I bet you'd pick up a nice bit of power throughout the entire range. Especially, if you are running rich!

and you went to Harrisonburg for a dyno pull? That's a extended Sunday drive from Fairfax LOL

You engine would respond nicely with headers, cats and cat back.

Too rich at the high end and too lean at the low end is typical of the factory tune. A VEC2 or a DC flash will make a noticeable improvement in performance.

Your power/torque/AF curves look practically identical to mine, and your numbers were relatively close. I have the Cats and Corsa 3" already (but you knew that because you've heard my car!)

Here's a link to mine for your comparison: My Dyno

And yeah, did you really drive to Dryft in PA to dyno? ISP racing in Beltsville has a pretty new (and very nice) AWD Dynojet. The club did its' dyno day there last weekend.

Crom:

The resolution on the a/f is too coarse to read, can you post the text chart for the run in 100 rpm increments?

Maybe I'm the only one, but I think on a dyno, to have the high end of the RPM range go rich, is a good thing. In real world driving conditions, you're going to get more air (and cooler probably) coming into the engine via ram-air at the higheer RPM range and gain a bit more power. Plus you have Vipair! So that's an extra 50 HP when it starts grabing all that air :D

Ill post the larger image when I get the chance, but I do not have the chart showing smaller increments, I guess I should have them do that for me.

I also came to the same conclusion as you 99 R/T 10 about the reason it is rich up top.

Several friends and I went on a long drive on Saturday and we stopped by some a shop owned by some friends...the dyno pulls were free :2tu:
