    Valentine 1 for me too. saved in the viper at least 10 times since I've had it, over 50 times on the hayabusa. it has told me to slow down because of a cop ahead of me and in more than a few occasions, i didn't race somebody because it went off and then passed a cop on the side of the road...

    i just did this. i had to cut off about 1 - 1.5 inches off the end and rethread using a 15mm 1.5 pitch die. most stores don't have that in stock so order one online before you start. the auto parts store found the part under a 1996 dodge dakota 2wd with the 318ci motor. 96 is a female...

    i'd rather do paint instead of vinyl due to the gloss of paint with clear as opposed to a flat black stripe. it wouldn't be too hard to go back later and just rough up the clear and black to spray white and reclear it if i don't like the black or want to see it with factory colors me...

    lots of stuff wrong with the paint. it's to the point where it NEEDS to be repainted becuase the guy i bought it from neglected it so much. I have wet sanded and polished as much as a i can and i'm still not happy with it. a car of this caliber should look like a million bucks from 12" away...

    i think the spririt of the viper should stay withint the spirit of the shelby cobra/shelby daytona/viper. all of this have a powerful engine in the front with 2 seats. a raodster... changing it to a mid engine would be going opposite of how the car was intended to be

    if you try to chrome aluminum then it WILL flake off in a matter of years. aluminum "breathes" just a little so air gets under the chrome and will make it bubble and flake off
