Interesting...
We have found, and are very happy that our ACR-X brake pads are lasting longer. Probably double.
I am comparing the ACRX pad life to Stoptech rotors (all four) with several different type of race pads.( Carbotech, Brakeman and several
others)
There are five of us that have...
You can see the titanium backing plates in the first photo. The caliper studs are a good idea if you are tracking the car.
Installed pc stainless screen to keep the "marbles" and debris out of radiator.
-You can also instal titanium brake pad backing plates.
-I am assuming you have already installed SS brake lines...
-Motul 600 brake fluid has a higher boiling point....
I haven't talked to David in a while and thought I would bounce a few ideas around and order some parts.
I look up the website and see that A.R.T is no longer a public operation and they moved to Colorado......?
(With C.O.T.A opening in their back yard too...?)
Anyway, I see that David...
This is........"interesting". I guess opinions change....:dunno:

BTW..... Those are some badass brakes. They are definitely an upgrade!!!
Also, the holes in the rotors weren't drilled. They are cast and chamfer'd...
"This".../\ /\/\/\/\........:2tu:
FWIW....Toddy's clutch systems come with a lightweight flywheel....
You will like the lighter flywheel. The car revs up and down much faster. The clutch won't fade in the heat either. This would obviously help on an AutoX course....
Have you tried some...
Re: What pressure should I run at the track with my Nitto 345/25/20 ...going tomorrow
I would leave them at 32# cold.
(As you stack them in the pits because you just installed some drag radials......:rolaugh:)
Seriously though.... GOOD LUCK..!!!!
Nittos' have a good rep for...
Looks Great!!!!.....:headbang:
Bring it out to one of the Gateway events... We've got a cruise this Saturday....
So... Is it going FI or are you putting it on "drugs"?
Sorry to get off topic but...
Is it 98db all the time? I'm running headers, no cats and one flow through muffler. I'm not sure exactly what my exhaust sound level is but I get black flagged at Road Atlanta for the "quiet time" between 10:00-12:00....:crazy2:
I had hoped to visit this track...
As if it wasn't bad enough you caravan'd with our club through Tail of the Dragon and seeing you everywhere at VOI...
Now you want to follow us around in our home city???....
Since your son is going to school here, I guess there's nothing we can do.....:smirk...
Toddy
I don't talk to you for a month and you have a whole new arsenal.....
FWIW...
I have been using BBGs clutch/flywheel race set up for a year now. I LOVE IT..!!!
I use it in my dedicated track car. The clutch has operated in hot, track conditions and has operated flawlessly.
The "bite' is...
FWIW....
I ordered a booster for my 08 track car. Hard to believe the little device could make a difference,... but it does.
I have been using the red, or middle setting on the track.
It does take a little getting used to. The throttle response, especially at shift points, is much quicker.
