I don't mind that. No hidden reserves. The buyer can walk away without having to look back. Respectful!
I really hate auctions that look interesting until it turns out the undisclosed reserve is truely ridiculous (sometimes way more than street price). What a waste of time to have to follow...
This works great if you don't mind cutting off the connector and using good splices (also just a few cents) or solder the wires to the $0.007 resistor (Mouser Electronics - Electronic Component Distributor).
However, for those that aren't gurus with electronics, the CAGS eliminator is very...
Why on earth would anybody put their keys in the trunk? I can't imagine a situation where it would end up there (unless I get robbed and the robber locks me into the trunk...)
Unless it's a "two-in-one" like the one I suggested. It works more like an "extension cord" where one end plugs into the transmission and the other end into the wire (=no dangling wires)
Works fine. Make sure you get a 250 ohm version. Should last forever. (Some of these seem to be made with 25 ohms and then it's likely they will not last long - 25 ohms will put 6 watts through the unit compared to 0.6 watts with 250 ohm).
I got a 25 ohm version off eBay. Never installed it...
Three main reasons:
-Engine volume & low end torque
-Styling / want something different than everybody else has
-Z06 does not come as convertible/roadster
Absolutely! I removed *all* those pesky side sill stickers on the day of delivery. Waited for a hot day to remove the visor stickers (they will easily peal off when the car has been sitting out in the sun for a couple of hours).
Good advice Jon! I really need to check this. Normally I don't hear any squeals, but sometimes I hear a faint squeal when slowly pulling into the garage. I guess the acoustics of a garage would amplify a noise that normally cannot be heard...
Hmmm.. When thinking more about it: I *never* hear...
Just detach it at both ends. That way you can use the tether later if you wish...
Or get one of those small black self adhesive hooks. I recall someone mentioning that their 08 came from the factory with a self adhesive hook attached...
FWIW, my 06 had both hook (welded on the inside of the...
Autobahn safety requires that slower traffic keeps right and that it's illegal to pass a car on its right hand side. Unfortunately passing on the right is legal here in the US, and retraining all drivers is probably impossible... Autobahn impossible :(

There are apparently a few clutch issues with some Gen IV cars:
http://forums.viperclub.org/srt10-srt10-coupe-discussions/616952-2008-double-clutch-reliability.html
That list looks like pure nonsense to me... It lists the Viper Converible as most expensive @ $2580. The Ford Mustang is way down on the list @ $1221...
I pay about the same insurance premium for my 2002 Mustang GT as I pay for my 2008 Viper... (I guess the Viper is 20% more but that's...
I understand the grille is just pushed on... However, I'm unsure if it's only the metal mesh part that pulls off, or does both the plastic ring and mesh pull off at the same time...
I tried to pull gently but it would not budge. I figure that I better ask somebody before trying again...
Like everyone else say, the battery will drain within 3-6 weeks.
I'm afraid your battery is probably in need of replacement again - unless you have maintained it with a trickle charger. (The battery in my 2006 lasted 18 months before it died. Again, like everyone says, the battery life will...
Sounds like you got totally wrong eliminator!
I used the exact same type of eliminator for my 2008 and 2006. (Incidentally it's also the exact same eliminator used on my former 2004 Corvette Z06).
Seatbelt ding can be disabled... (Just had my DRL enabled and seatbelt ding disabled).
I don't recommend disabling it if there's any chance that you might forget to wear your seatbelt though. I like it disabled, because it's frustrating to have to listen to the annoying ding when you forgot...
