I won't profess to have studied this in any detail, but my guess is that any delays are similar to those "sold" by the stereo music business, i.e. that you need equal length wires to your speakers in order to prevent the delay over the longer wires from corrupting the sound. While true, the ear...
That is BS Tom. I installed a 68 degree thermostat just the other day. I can now drive around in 90 degree heat without even using the AC! How cool is that!
Let us go back to the origin of this thread. High Amp booster Jump - Nature of PCM damage? What would cause PCM damage? I have a few milliseconds of experience with electronic circuit damage. All of it is caused by heat, which is in turn caused by too much current driven through a given...
I still don't follow. V=IR. Ohms Law. So, I = V/R. You can have a bazillon amp capable supply, but it will only supply V/R amps regardless of its capacity. Am I missing something?
Hi Steve,
Excuse my ignorance once again, but what is a "boost to start" jump? Assuming the voltage is at 12 - 14 Volts, how can one fry the PCM?
Thanks,
Pat
I did my Viper yellow with black vinyl, and could not be more pleased. No way I would try to do it myself. My only advice is to find the best professional you can find to do it. It is not easy with as many curves as the Viper has. Also, be very clear on what is acceptable or not. I got...
I certainly have noticed the insects are attracted to the yellow. There are so many mosquitoes in my area, I can't say that they are attracted to the car. I thought it was me!
You asked two different questions. What is the rarest, and what is the most desirable. The rarest, I don't know. The most desirable, I do know. Bumblebee Baby! Viper Yellow with black stripes. No doubt.
I'm a big Wizard fan as well. What I don't understand is why Chrysler would want to end their relationship with Tator? Does Chrysler pay Chuck to sell their cars? If not, how does cutting dealers result in a net win for Chrysler? Same for GM. Does anyone know the answer? The clueless...
Ditto. I did a Roe completely by myself, and no issues. You can change the pulley and make as much power as you want (within reason). But, make sure the rest of the drive train can handle it. I only have 5 psi of boost, and that makes a big difference on the street. Enjoy!
