...forgot one other Gen1 feature:
The bolt hole for the front SS brake line clamp that attached to the back side of the spindle is too small and will require adjustment (1/2" drill worked just fine).
Great "how-to". I looked at it prior to doing my install.
Attached are some photos of Gen1 specifics - mainly dealing with the iron uprights and A-arms. There are NO clearance issues on the lower ball joint like there is on a Gen2...But ther is clearance issues on the parking brake bracket...
I think the FE has finally gone off the deep end...
They're not going to do a Resistol LE/FE with barbwire penstrippiing and saddle leather interrior....are they?
Looks like the plain ole SRT will be the rare one.:devroll:
....900cc bikes, GT500's, Z06's, Bentley GTs, Porsche Turbos, etc., etc.... :D
Need more fuel, TBs, 2.8L blower....just in case :drive:
Oh yeah...and a clutch:omg:
That would be a joke - the "chip" part. This Gen1 is pretty heavily modified.
read about it here:

As promised - daytime photos.
IMO:
This might be the perfect Gen1 wheel - they look like what should have came on the RT stock.
PS:
This threw my speedo off exactly 5mph according to the GPS on my Pasport 9500. Speedo indicating 65 - 9500 indicating 70.
Is there a gear/fix for this...
Within 3% of GG Gen2 heads???:omg: HELW Yeah!!!!! Nice lift w/o breaking springs and enough duration that the car rocks gently, :lmao:, at stop lights!
I'm hoping to get the TBs & fuel pumps in by the round-up (April). I finally got to get in it from 2nd gear thru 4th with the PS Cups in...
I've got stock TBs - problem #1
I'm outta fuel at 5100rpm - problem #2
My heads were done at PBJ - would hate to have the heads reworked - anyone know what PBJs flow numbers are?
I've got a PBJ cam and without pulling it out and checking the L/D then I can only go off the sound that it's more...
Stop bursting my bubble....
I'm going to suck on my thumb in the corner....
...dreams can come true! ...freakin reality - it sucks!
I did talk to Sean today. There a few tricks I can do to get me very close to 700. I'm afraid that may be the prictical limit - but with the 2.8L swap...
Jason,
Surging got you down?:omg::lmao:
...Everyone - forget Jason - PM me. I want 1 too!!!:headbang::headbang:
...darn thing feels like a Roe boat (pun intended) under 2k!
I found taking them for a ride is enough. To 2nd Mark - light the tires up at over 100 and they quickly run to that "oh crap I'm gonna die" place inside their minds. Right after you do that look at them and say "your turn!". Haven't got an "ok" yet. I usually get "how fast was that" - I tell...
RTTTTed is right - everyone selling speed is publishing crank Hp numbers.
Ted...cut us gen 1 guys some slack - stock Gen1 Hp is in the 375+ range...Stop lumping us in with the Vette crowd/numbers :rolaugh:
I'm pretty modified and very close to being "maxed out" w/a Roe on a Gen 1 (w/o...
There's 3 different "methods" described above - some seem valid.
I know Treesnake has a CO2 system set up on his car to do essentially this same thing. Mayber he can let us know how effective it is.
I'm not a fan of temp or limited power adders like NO2. I prefer the power be available...
