    heck do not worry about the heat because it will be hot with the top down with any convertible,I have a t Bird and a corvette coupe along with the viper and when it is 90 plus heck I cannot drive anyone of them with the top down..

    cd changer needed, original or not

    my went bad on my 03 call the dealer and had them order me another one,call me when it came in ,took the car to them and it was in a matter of less than 30 minute.That was from a dealer that is a small time viper dealer.

    Help, my car is not a lemon !!

    Had a 99 rt10 no problems in 2 years,bought Srt 10 in 2003 and have never had a problem except the little call backs that I think most people have had,would have kept the rt but wanted a real convertible .

    I did edit my post but they did not change it,it was a C6,and the part about the 6 speed came from a corvette engineer at the corvette caravan this weekend in Panama City, Fla.My wife owns a C5,so that is why we were there ,I have the SRT 10.

    I had a chance to sit in a C5 this weekend ,the viper is still in a class by itself,the different that I notice when you are sitting in the car is that the viper just seem to wrap you in it,just like you and the car are made for each other.I don't think anybody will think that the corvette look...

    SRT-10 Coupe - guess the stats

    I believe that if Dodge would go ahead and build the coupe and have the output between 600 and 650 HP and make sure it look like the comp.coupe there would be no more talk about the Gt 40,as long as they could keep it below 100,000.00 dollars.

    SRT-10 Engine Noise

    check the bolts that hold the motor in place,my sound came from the motor on the passenger side,the shield was resting against the frame because the bolts had came loose,you could hear it in the cabin area real good.I posted early about my sound and the problems was that the motor bolts had...

    engine noise

    engine started making a noise when the engine was turn off. Took to the dealer and found that the motor bolts had come loose and the motor had dropped down and the manifold sheild was resting on the frame. May want to check for loose motor bolts.could have been worse.

    compliments

    I usually tell them that I used to have one those too ,nice car and then I ask them if they would like to race but they would have to give me a couple of car length for a head start and usually would laugh and that was the end and everthing turn out alright.

    A real Viper, it still clunks!

    I got worse than clunks,got a bad noise on passenger side of engine when I cut off the engine ,started last night,only has 1600 miles on engine,have to see when I get off work if it still does it.Hope it was a one time thing if not will have to take to dealer tomorrow.
