Ok, holding my thoughts, but If you can get that car for $40K, no brainer. The work alone, if running right(I would get it dynoed and is the boost at 6PSI) should be making 600ish RWHP. Cost just for the parts is $9-$10K

The 1996 year was a good year for the Viper. Of course you got the iconic B/W GTS, but then you could have gotten the RT in 3 flavors. the White with blue stripes, the black with silver stripes and what they called McDonalds version you see in the auction on Cars&bids. I think Dodge was playing...
The Demon Coils are a common upgrade. The 1996 GTS guys can get the later connectors from either Scharf or maybe amazon and get a hotter coil if required.
The facotry did make the GTS-R blocks with a 2.5 Main bearing size vs. 3" to get a little more RPM out of the race cars. Of course they also got better heads. The intake manifold and heads are a huge restriction. The Gen 3 manifold or a custom manifold will help to get the RPM limit higher than...
