    AI says the Build date of 10-25-99 has Cast Pistons. Take it with a grain of salt.

    Mark, is that you? So not sure of when they switched over but does the car sound like its got the Lumpy 708 Cam? Pretty distinctive especially with that overlap when sitting in the car. Mine rocks me especially when cold.

    Did you take the Wires off? if so, did you put them back on correctly?

    Can you record with your tool? What I do is throw my tool on the Passenger's seat and take it for a good ride and then go back home and look at it. The good thing with my tool is it connects VIA blue tooth so there are no cables draped over my foot while driving.

    Personally the only time I see another Viper is at a Viper Gathering OR when I go over my Buddies house who has a Sapphire. That's another reason I like these cars so much is them being so scarce.

    For me its always been the switch on my 96. I dont drive my car that much and find the switch contacts get oxidized and fails. The 96 switch is a one off and I have learned to take the switch apoart and clean the contacts.

    For me its not about whether it looks good or not its about putting it back to Factory. If you have to have stripes, put on Factory style Vinyl stripes.
