    My viper conundrum

Never hurts to frequent places where people will have good car etiquette. Examples would be Cars and Coffee events, local car shows, track events as either a driver or spectator, car cruises etc. etc. etc. I definitely get the concern, but you can get a lot of low stress enjoyment out of the car...

    Radiator upgrade

Couldn't hurt to look at the idler pulley, tensioner, and serpentine belt while you have the access. Cheap and easy to knock out that preventative maintenance.

Original Vintage 1996 Video of my 1996 GTS Coupe being delivered by Reliable Freight.

That is an outstanding video, and thank you for sharing! I was still a high-schooler when your delivery happened. That would have been around the time I saw one in the wild for the first time. Without going into detail, I was hooked is an understatement. I have built many a cool cars over the...

Not keeping any records from special builds of limited production cars is kind of crazy. To each their own I guess.

    1996 GTS Information

Have you contacted Hennessey? I've got to imagine they kept records pertaining to VIN and possibly which level of build were associated with them. At least I would like to believe they would...but Hennessey.

Ground Clearance 2" Air Lift Kit - trying to find the preCovid $750 kit I posted about ...somewhere

Interesting, so air cups. Now I have something new to nerd out to/learn about. Never knew that was a thing, but I'm definitely curious about the pluses and minuses. Snake oil or realistic budget lift for our cars?

Ground Clearance 2" Air Lift Kit - trying to find the preCovid $750 kit I posted about ...somewhere

$750 ground clearance kit?...I'm all ears lol. Nothing says daily driver like clearing driveways and speedups. Probably too good to be true for many reasons, but I've got my bucket of popcorn.

    The Quest for 275 MPH

Looks great!, definitely looking forward to seeing her make some runs. Have your plans changed for where you want to run the car this year?

Klunking sound when turning n engaging clutch

Probably worth getting the car off the ground and start moving some parts around. Half shafts, u joints, transmission mount, etc, etc, etc. Plenty of things can start clunking around under load. Ideally a visual inspection will reveal something that looks out of sorts, otherwise you'll have to...

    1995 viper running issues

Sounds like the PCM/ECU might need to relearn. There are a bunch of write ups on here about diagnosing and working through the fix for that.

    01 GTS radiator hose question

Looks like a coolant bleed valve. Usually people add them to the lower radiator hose for radiators that lack that feature. My guess is someone added it in order to purge air while filling the coolant system. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to replace all of that with a standard upper hose...

First Viper GTS ACR of the Millennium?

If you are specifically looking for the first ACR from 99, that is located in Vancouver WA at the WAAAM car museum. The owner, Ron Wade, has a special plate from the factory in the center console in addition to the ACR one.

First Viper GTS ACR of the Millennium?

https://theviperstore.com/Information_Viper_Production_Stats.htm Here is some of the info you are looking for. I have a list on Vinwiki where I add 99-02 ACR's as I find them online, usually for sale. https://fcagroup.my.site.com/RAM/s/equipment-listing If you punch the Vin into the site...

94 Viper Paint Changed from Viper Red to Orange over the summer and tiny paint blisters everywhere

Factory paint? Felt the need to expand my thought, had the car been painted prior to your ownership. This is the first fiberglass car I have ever owned, not sure how paint holds up long term on fiberglass composite compared to metal or other composites.

    Storage Problem

Understatement of the year award goes to... Definitely needs a shop vac, pressure wash, and a whole lot of finger crossing. The new storage location couldn't hurt either after repurposing your critter hotel.

    Sway bar bushings

In that case, do a search for sway bar endlinks made by Mevotech, Delphi, or Moog as a start. I'm not sure which companies bought which, or who is making who these days. There are many, and opinions and experiences will vary. I would figure if your driving is not overly demanding, most will...

94 Viper right sidepipe overheating and melting sill plate under door. Any ideas as to why this is occurring

If it's only on the one side, I'd look towards a clogged cat or bad O2 sensor.

Pedal options - better heel/toe and shorter clutch throw?

I'd be curious to hear any first hand experience with this product. From the reading, the clutch would become stiffer, but there are fixes for that as well. Far from a necessity, but the thought of improving the clutch pedal throw and feel has me intrigued.

Inherited a 94 Viper want to sell I don’t know anything about them.

There have been a few 94's that sold on Bring A Trailer in the last few months. They have ranged from $33 1/2k - $40k with miles under 20k - over 40k. Not a bad place to compare miles and condition to those that have sold recently. They also have comments you can read through to gather a little...
