    Yeah, most batteries are made in the same place and just have different stickers and warranties. Johnson controls is one of the big manufacturers I believe. I don't recall if Interstate owns them or is another, but the vast majority of batteries are only made by a couple of companies.

    Have a picture by any chance? I got decent at identifying connectors when I had to find all the ones to build the harness for my 5.7 in my 67 Dart. Sometimes they are manufacturer specific, but since this is just going to a sensor I would hope it wouldn't be that oddball.

    I'd keep an eye on the power steering and oil cooler lines as those are known issues for this generation as well. Both has easy enough fixes, but better to catch them early than late.
