    With the manual, one can gain valuable insights by consulting the 8-W-80 section. There you will find switches etc. along with pinouts...and, the wire size and colors.

    Start by looking for cracked/broken wires in the bundle above the door hinge. Find 2001 Viper Service Manual on eBay as it will show all that you need to now and in near future...all for a few bucks.
