I need a photo that shows the Viper Logo cast into the side of the tranny...
I'm arguing with a guy who is selling a T-56 and say's it's a Viper tranny.
I told hime the Viper tranny has the logo cast into it. The tranny he's got doesn't.
My brake pedal travel varies. Most of the time it's fine. But on about one out three applications it travels a lot farther (twice as far, but not to the floor). I changed the master cylinder but that didn't change anything.
Any ideas?
Custom paint jobs....Let\'s see some pics
I'm having my car painted later this month by one of the "BEST" custom car painters in the country. I'm interested in seeing others cars that have custom paint jobs.
I'll post mine after it's done.
I can't believe it but I have fluid leaking out of my power booster. Where could it be coming from? The only thing I can figure is the master cylinder is leaking into the booster.
Any suggestions? Anyone seen this before?
A friend of mine just bought a 1995 Black Viper with 000196 original miles (yes that's 196 miles) on e-bay for $40,600.00.
What a steal. We're driving to Florida to pick it up this weekend.
I'm thinking about installing the Belanger mufflers and cats.
Looking at the current exhaust system, there is a steel flexible material of some kind, incorporated into the exhaust pipe just inboard of the side exhausts. Is this some sort of system to deal with the flexing caused by motor...
Optima won\'t fit my car but I found one that does....
The Redtop's posts are 7-3/4" high. My frame is 7-1/4".
All of these Vipers are different. I guess it depends on who welded it. Not wanting to modify the car I did some research.
Here's the BEST one I found....and believe me I've looked...
Well after 6 years I finally turned on my windshield wipers. I couldn't believe the way they operated. The drivers side comes up...then stops and waits for the passenger side to go up and back down before the drivers side then goes down. Is this correct or is something wrong with mine? I've...
I'm considering replacing my complete side exhaust with something louder...Roe, Belanger etc.
If I replace everything from the converter back is this a bolt-on change (no welding)?
Are there any sensors (oxygen, etc.) that have to be relocated into the new system?
I can see that removal of...
I recently had a battery that went dead while I was out. Try as I might I couldn't get the car to jump start from another car or battery booster. It would crank over slowly a couple of times and never run.
Is there a default thingy or something in the computer that won't allow a jump start...
I just bought front pads and one of the pads on each side has a electrical lead of some kind coming out of the top of it. I don't see that on my car (94).
Anyone ever had this problem?
Headlight won\'t stay on problem....need answers
My right front headlight sometimes doesn't work (or goes out while I'm driving).
If I switch to high beams and then back it starts working again.
What's going on? Switch, loose connection, something else?
A lot of people seem to think there is a problem with the Gen 1 head gaskets.... Wrong, the head gaskets are a symptom, of the REAL problem - which is the steel cylinder sleeves were poorly designed and they slip!!!!!
The solution is a Arrow rebuild...which I had done (lucky me) and here is...
What is it with the \"idiots\" at Mobil 1?....
The new bottles show the following formulas:
For higher mileage cars....
For new cars....
For most cars....
What the heck is that all about?
How are we supposed to know which oil formula to use?
While changing my oil last night I noticed that the crank pulley looks like it has asphalt lining the inside of it. At first I thought I picked up something from road debris but on further examination the substance looksuniform around the interior of the pulley. I wonder if this is something DC...
1. Will there be an opportunity to test run cars other than stock during the day on Friday? Is it an open track from 9-noon?
2. Will there be vendors with products for sale?
3. What time zone is Bowling Green in?
4.What provisions (if any) are being made for those who will drive their Vipers...
Occasionally I have difficulty with starting my car. I have to push down extremenly hard on the clutch pedal to disengage/activate (whatever you call it) the switch in order to start the car. Forget about it if the floor mat gets under the pedal. I have been told that there is no adjustment in...
