I have the old style Borla (I think the first version ever made for the Viper) and it is very noticeably louder than stock! I had it installed many years ago along with headers, Hennessy air box, smooth tubes and cat delete. Given the "lumpy' cam of the "96" it has a very throaty loping idle of...
Have a long crack in the windshield on driver side (I know this might be impossible to find) and driver side wiper motor. Got caught in a rain storm and the wipers got tangled so had to drive home without them. It is the driver side motor that has failed.
Thanks for any help.
If I can't ship my car there I can't attend (work schedule won't allow it). However, I can drive home unless that will affect everyones shipping costs. Just renewed my membership (a little late!) and haven't registered for VOI.

I was quite surprised to see a red and black ACR with a big wing going north on I 405 Thursday afternoon. I pulled up beside him but didn't recognize him - older gentleman who kind of reminded me of the guy with the yellow GTS that got high-centered at Tom P. 's house a few years ago. He got off...
This rattle from the center of the dash was driving me crazy so I took the car ('06 FE coupe) in to the local Chrysler dealer (no Viper tech but an excellent service dept. and good rapport with the service folks). The tech had never worked on a Viper before but found the problem and fixed it ...
ViperArry,
Where did you get the very first picture in your post - The red RT/10 in the show room? That picture looks exactly like the show room of Lynnwood Dodge in Washington state and the RT/10 looks like my '94 which I traded in on the First Edition SRT/10 Coupe. Also, the black '96 RT/10...
I just got the cheap flat plates for my '96 as well. It seems to me that since the $30 tab initiative was passed they have found ways to add "fees" to grab more money from us. Our 300C had an excess weight fee of $20 or so. I can see requiring a new plate if yours is damaged but mine (and yours...
To run the unlimited class in the Silver State you need extensive safety modifications to your car - full roll cage, fuel cell, fire supression system, etc. Most people are not going to do that to their street car. I believe the same is true for the salt flats. You also are running against a...
I am a friend of Scott and I know that he has a Paxton on his car ('97 blue/white RT/10). You may be confusing him with Bud (also a friend) who has a Roe, nitrous and a whole bunch of other stuff on his '96 GTS. I haven't seen dyno sheets on either one but I don't think they have close to 1000...
I've been here since 2000 and have learned a ton from you guys (and hopefully given a little in return). I can't foresee the day when there won't be at least one Viper in my garage.

I hear you there! I have 9 spaces in my garages and 8 of them are taken ( I managed to squeeze the 3 Vipers, the Corvette and the GTO in the "special" garage and the Jeep, the Chrysler and the 230SL (such that it is) in the other one. That means I have an open space for the '08 raffle car!! I...
I spoke with the parts guy at my dealer about ordering an '08 hood. He said that the computer indicated that they were not yet available and 7 were on order. The dealer price is $1,500 and there would be no shipping charge. I would guess that shipping charges would be significant if it were...
I just came from Lynnwood Dodge (oil change and a couple of warranty issues). Tom gave me copies of the order on the 2 '08s that they have coming that will be for sale when they arrive (or before). One is a solid blue coupe and the other is a venom red (no stripes) convertible. Both have RB1...
I just returned from the dealer. Of course we tried over and over to get the window to malfunction and it wouldn't do it. The service advisor suggested that it might have something to do with the memory system and that certain things might cause it to have to re-learn. One possibility was...
I have the same problem with my '06 coupe. The window does not go down slightly so that when I close the door the top of the glass hits the paint above the door. I took it in shortly after I bought it and they replaced the entire window mechanism. It seemed to solve the problem but now it is...
I have that poster as well - all framed and hanging on my garage wall. I found it on ebay after many months of searching. Its a great poster and no, its not for sale.
