    SVS Stryker SRT-10 TT 760rwhp 870rwftlbs. @ 10.5psi

Hey “Jr.” Got 4 quick ones for you…… How long did this project take from start to finish? How much do you think this total system will cost with the Motec, engine, “seriously improved cooling” and all; what is the total out the door cost if I wanted to duplicate this car? (I bring the car of...

Man, don't oil your hood hinges..

WOAH!!!!! WOAH!!!!!DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISAMBLE THE HINGES!! Look at what the spring is doing; it has about 2’ of leverage AGAINST it and it is bolted to the center of a hood that weighs somewhere around 100 pounds. Think about it!! Not the smartest thing to do. I have seen one of the springs...

10 throttle bodies... Cool? or Junk?

Lil more GTS-R info That is one of the main issues with using the Mopar 10 TB set. There is no common vacuum port. The GTS-R cars all ran off of the TPS alone. (They ran 2, 1 for a backup because they were located inside the sealed box itself) because it was a NA set up. You cannot run a forced...

10 throttle bodies... Cool? or Junk?

1st Hand exp. The 10 TB set up on the GTS-R is not made for the street and functions more like a switch... on or off.... at part throttle the mixture goes all over the map due to inconsistencies in the throttle linkage and just the slight expanding and contracting of the cylinder head and...

TWIN SRT/10 ILMOR SERPENT BOAT: NOV/DEC MOPAR MAGAZINE

WOW!!!!!!!! but what if??? I actually ran into the chief engineer who was in charge of this project. I met him at an industry trade show last year and at the time they were showing a GTS version of the same engine. The guy did not impress me as being all that familiar with building anything...

    AEM Viper EMS running!

the codes that you get for the gas cap thing are all part of the OBD-II package. if the light doesn’t work then you don’t have OBD-II. this is the one main drawback of a system like this.... the amount of time and energy that would be required to get the system to actually pass emissions is cost...

    Transmission upgrade

Banging gears I have seen the work done by a person who produces some of the finest shifting and strongest (he MAKES several custom replacement parts) T-56 transmissions around. :2tu: I can help you get your transmission rebuilt from him. If you would prefer a direct approach to getting...

AEM Engine Management System New Release

Re: Quick question I second that "thanks for the info Doug”.... I hope that most people would find it to be educational... I was just commenting on the style of sensor to be used. I must thank you for taking the opportunity to clarify the correct use and limitations of a knock sensor.

AEM Engine Management System New Release

Quick question Chris, What brand sensor are you guys using in that picture? Have you ever looked into the 3 wire ones from Bosch? They are really convenient because they are doughnut shaped and you simply run a small bolt down the center. Therefore you have far grater flexibility where they...

    Standalone engine management

M-400? As far as I know there is no such thing as the M-400 yet. But motec curantly does offer: M4, M48, and M800 (M880, M1010, M1212). my experience lies in ECU setup's and mapping for 4,5,6,8,10,12 cyl.s, I also have a great deal of time invested in the Motec ADL and also their Interpreter...

1150 Degrees F. , no wonder it gets hot inside....

do not \"WARAP\" a stock cat!! You do not want to "wrap" your stock cats!!! this will only cause them to retain excessive heat internally and cause them to fail prematurely. your best bet is to get the corsa and a high flow cats. then place some insulation between the cat and the driver...

Brakes Squeek like mad, what is the best brake pad?

Re: you ever hear the saying if you can stand the noise by all means keep what you have. no one can really beat Brembo as far as braking . you must ask yourself about what your intentions really are and is it really worth the money to swap out the Brembo set-up for a set-up that will perform...

    Viper Dry Sump

Re: Built a custom system and also installed the GTS-R one if you can get ahold oa a GTS-R pan-pump set up. you could easily adapt it to your situation and use a small reservoir and place it in the area of the cross member in front of the engine and therefore not have to worry about excessive...

    Standalone engine management

Is there an echo in here? How many times have we heard this from every tuner on this board "just around the corner" how long does it really take? and after all this time don't you think something would be availble at a far cheaper cost already? is this system going to finally be EPA legal...

    GTSR engine

GTS-R First hand I am very familiar with the GTS-R block and what it would take to make it work with a stock car.. F.Y.I. the stock heads will fit. The lifter bores will need to be resized unless you are going to run the solid lifters. a stock crankshaft will work provided you have the main...

Brakes Squeek like mad, what is the best brake pad?

you ever hear the saying \"you have to pay to play\"? that is kind of the nature of the beast when it comes to that particular Brembo setup that you are referring to. I am VERY familiar with EXACTLY what you are talking about and I have even talked with EBC about producing a pad for that...

    Viper Dry Sump

almost forgot By the way. it is possible to retain all your stock HVAC and not have the tank in the trunk (in a coupe that would be bad du to the fact that you could get some crankcase gas venting into the cockpitst kind of F.Y.I.....

    Viper Dry Sump

Built a custom system and also installed the GTS-R one OK... You can get away with a 4 stage pump just fine (3 scavenge, 1 pressure). the GTS-R set up is a 5 stage (4 scavenge, 1 pressure) with a centrifugal oil/air separator at the rear of the pump (allowing the use of a MUCH smaller revisor)...
