I have a bunch of goo on my window stanchions on the outside. My question is, do you have to replace the entire units to get the seals or can you replace just the seals by themselves.
Where can I find these?
Currently have the Viper at the Body Shop only to decide what color combination and at a loss. Been absent from the forum for a while and looking for anyone to photoshop my GTS with some creative color combinations. I like stripes so this is a must! It is currently red with black carbon fiber...
Bring it to Maryland, I have done many Vipers to date :) Or you can do it yourself, I have complete kits as well with detailed instructions with plenty of extra vinyl for mistakes...
So I made the trip and everything went very well. The brake controller was pretty much all I needed and the truck towed very well with the weight behind it. I got thrown off of the pkwy in NJ/NY, however after being lost, ending up in the bronx, I ended up getting to Tator's Dodge around...
I'll test fit the controller before mounting haha.
The truck has the tow package. It's an automatic. I'll be gentle on the truck and try and center the Viper in the trailer best as possible. I don't have the time or $ to get the equalizing hitch (would be nice) and honestly, I don't plan...
I see many different brake controllers on Summit, hmmmm :)
This is why I ask, I just want to make sure everything is safe and that I can get the car transported along with the truck , trailer and Viper being safe. I'm trying to get the Viper to Tator's this weekend, so it's something I need to...
Hey guys,
I'm trying to haul my Viper to Tator's Dodge and wanted to find out if I can use my quad cab 05 Dodge Hemi Ram to tow the 24ft enclosed trailer without any problems? The truck doesn't have a seperate trailer brake controller, but shouldn't it be okay without? Shouldn't the plug...
I traded my 06 Mustang GT for the SS, I love the SS but wish I didn't trade the Mustang.
The SS is perfect size for the Wifey and 2 kids. It's fun to beat up on the ricers with my family SUV too :rolaugh: AWD with the 4:10 rear and 390hp/400tq gets em every time :lmao:
Wanted to see if anyone else has a Trailblazer SS and is successfully towing their Vipers without hesitation.
I have a 2007 Trailblazer SS 390hp and 400 ft/lbs tq AWD with optional 4:10 rear and want to tow my GTS from MD to NY.
I have access to an enclosed 24ft trailer and also an older...
Used this kit and the lens are all cleaned up! They don't look like a brand new set, but they are clear and you can see through them again without making the car look it's age. This is exactly what I was after.
Thanks again guys!
Now, everyone go out and polish something today :2tu:
It is the wedge in version where 4 V shaped clips wedge itself tight around the complete handle casing. It's going to take some playing with, but I got tired of playing with it after an hour or less and moved onto something else.
I saw there is an upgrade to the newer silver handles in the...
I'll have to get some pics, I'm sure the inside is a problem area as well. $500 is a high dollar fix :crazy2:
Here is something I found from Jack B , wondering how this has held up!

Dave,
I don't have any plan for these lights as of yet, that is why I posted here. I'm only posting what I've heard some others doing. As for the glue, they had to use something that would keep them together. I'd like to find a new pair, but even if I could, $800-1,000 each is crazy!!!!!
Hey everyone, I know that some of you guys if not a lot of you have foggy, yellowing, scratchy looking headlights! I did a search and I've seen some plastic polishing kits on Eastwood and a few other places, however my question is for the guys that have addressed this issue and can offer advice...
Screwdriver removed and got the window/regulator motor installed. It was fairly simple, I just twisted the opposite side of the motor where the lines crossed towards the front of the door panel and snapped window in place on the plastic clip, slid metal pin through and bolted everything in...
Thanks for all the response guys, I'm going to attempt this today. I'll let you know how I make out and also post back as to which way It should be twisted or any tips/tricks I find. The screwdriver holding the window up just isn't cutting it lol
As many of you know, I've been w/o my GTS for approximately 13mos while having a ton of work done to it at UGR.
Prior to dropping the Viper off, the window motor quit working and the clip was broke yadda yadda yadda, so I removed the old one in hopes of having the new one before shipping the...
I'll bet Dave is working on a few performance items at the hospital and will be available soon on his website =)
Best wishes Dave, you and your family are in our prayers.
