    That is exactly what my 97GTS does, unless it is one of our "wonderful" 114-116F days, then it goes higher. I have had the computer turn off my A/C compressor, due to water temp. All normal according to manual, and our Viper Tech.

    Why in the heck do Vipers eats batteries so badly?

    I guess that I have been lucky, as I just 1 month ago replaced the original battery with a Sears Platinum. Anytime my car is in the garage, it is on a Battery Tender without the alarm set. A couple of weeks ago I didn't get the passenger door completely shut and it kept the Battery Tender busy...

    Side pipes for GTS

    I also love my side pipes. I went with fairly subtle mufflers and stock cats, so the exhaust note is acceptable to me. I went with the Gen 1 side sills and am pleased with the end product.....Doc

    If you install side exhaust, then you can have TWO black areas on your garage floor.

    oil consumption?

    I also use 15W50 here in sunny Az. where the asphalt temps can reach 150-160F during our "toasty" months.

    I go through an open passenger side window, but I don't store my car as we can use them the year around. I just lay an old towel on the door so the cord is not on the paint and it works great.

    Boy, I wish mine ONLY went up that high!! The ambient temp right now is 110F. That makes the asphalt about 160F or higher.     I wish that we could get 93/94 octane here in Az. 91 is the best that we can get. I have a couple of cars that would love it, especially a blown car.
