Photos don't do these works of art justice. I think it says something when the guys at Ilmore Racing were impressed with the design and construction. :usa:
Oh yeh, I will be up there for sure! I have a lot of new parts to try out and get used to. I'll be shooting for Kumo's time of 2:21 in the ACR.:headbang:
I hear ya. MAM is only a 2.5 hour drive for me but I have been ruined after two days at Road America. I hear from Viperless that Brainerd has been repaved and widened so I will be heading up there next month.
Thanks Keith! Just trying to catch up to you......:crazy2: I'm probably going to do some NARRA TTU next year so I don't want to bring a knife to a gun fight!!
Bruce, I road raced motorcycles for 13 years and I used OHLINS on EVERY bike I built, it really is the top of the line IMHO. Being as Rick did the race setup on my KW stuff I am REALLY excited about what is coming out.
Almost forgot one of the best mods so far..... these Performance Friction Pads in the #01 Front & #06 Rear compounds are freakin AWSOME!! You won't believe the braking power these provide!! Sure they make a lot of dust and eat rotors like a baby eats candy but it is worth it.:D Stock pads vs...
Next on the list will be a set of polished and cryoed 3:55 gears with a OS Giken, BBG Mono-Ball joints throughout the whole suspension along with BBG's not yet released Ohlins Shock kit which after seeing the prototypes I was sold on them. Next year I will look at doing my motor from the bottom...
Here is the much over priced Arrow Carbon Fiber Block Off Plate.... Here is a poor photo of heat shielding that I installed under the air box to reflect the heat from the engine.... Here is another poor photo of the BBG Billet Steering Rack Bushings....:2tu:
Here are the Factory ACR-X canards from BBG..... Here we have the very nice 4 point Roll Bar from BBG..... Here is my quick release steering hub and removed sun visors....
Ok, time to move forward with this tread again. I will be posting up pics tomorrow of all the recent mods that I have made to my ACR. After getting to run two days at my favorite track Road America in July I am hooked like a junkie!!:crazy2:
Anyone care to check your car to see if it's missing the washers on the bottom of your steering rack bushings? You will have to look with a light to see and don't confuse the shims for the washer...... I just replaced my rubber bushings and found my car only had the shims on the...
No, your right it is a narrow seat. I really should have ordered the "wide" version because I have to wedge my 37" waist into it. If it doesn't loosen up or break in a little I'll probably be buying another one.
Well, I won't have the 3:55's in by Oct. but watch out next year because I am hauling my car out to California right after Road America and leaving it with Toddy @ BBG for a month or two......:omg:
Thanks Mike! I will see you guys up at Road America again in October. I finally decided to set up my car for 100% track use only. Next mod is a 4 point roll bar from BBG. :D
Window has a few inches of space so no issue there and the door panel only lightly makes contact with the seat and I mean just by a millimeter if that.
