I first put 3.55 in, then a Paxton a year later. I don't track the car, but enjoy it on spirited drives. I have no comparison to a longer ratio, but I really love the 3.55-Paxton combination.
Good to know. There are different generations of the RB1 unit. Don't remember exactly which one I bought, but I was told to avoid the first few generations when I was looking to buy.
What he said. Get a used Gen IV exhaust and eliminate your crossover. I have done it on my 2004 and it DRASTICALLY reduces the heat in the cabin and of the side sills.
Not true. I have the Mopar iPod kit installed, it works with the RB1. IMO this is the nicest OEM solution. You can leave the Nav disk in the unit while playing songs from your iPod.
If you want a really cheap one check out this:

I have it and it works flawlessly with my '04.
Steve,
You don't happen to have a Paxton sitting in your Garage that you never got around installing, do you? :D :D :D
See you at the June meeting?
Mike.
I have had a ProPark 7 for two years now, no problems except oil leaking from the hydraulic cylinder (very little though). Assembled and installed it myself with the help of a friend in a few hours. Be aware though that people will want to visit you for oil changes. ;-)
