My 08 has check engine light but not codes!
The check engine light came on. Car runs fine. Went to Autozone and hooked an OBDII scanner to it and no codes came up. Tried another friends OBDII scanner and no codes come up either. What could cause the check engine light to come on and no code come up in a scanner?- weightlifter123

Is my 08 Viper down on power?
I was running 40 in 2nd gear and punched it. Not real fast just rolled it to the floor expecting wheelspin. But it didn't spin and didn't seem to accelerate like you would expect a 600HP car to. So I tried again from 40 and stab it pretty fast and still the same thing...ran it up to 6K in 2nd...- weightlifter123

Just got new Viper coupe and have question
Picked up my 08 Viper Red Viper Coupe with black stripes from Woodhouse last Friday. Would post pics but I don't think a new member can do that. I have had a lot of sport cars and muscle cars over the years. Corvettes, Z06, Z28, SS, Cobras, Trans Ams etc. Always wanted a Viper but never...- weightlifter123
