    2000 mile drive showed some problems

    1. I just drove my 96 gts on a 2,000 mile trip of hard driving through the desert. I checked the oil periodically and it was always good until I got home now I see it is 2 quarts low and it looks like it could have been coming from the top of the dip stick maybe. Is this a common issue...

    window switches

    on my 96 gts I have 6 going to the window switch and it is one big switch for both windows. I got a newer switch and it is two separate switches with a total of 16 wires. Can I make the new style work with my old harness of six wires some how?

    exhaust stink in car

    i read other posts about fixing the exhaust smell in the car (96 gts) but none of them helped me find out whats causing it. I brought it to the exhaust shop and they checked all the joints so it shouldn't be leaking. i read about trunk vents, how can i tell if those are bad??

    removing quarter panel

    I want to remove my passenger side rear quarter. Is it glued at the top seam? I don't want to damage any paint taking it off.. It sounds like it is pretty simple to take off..is it?:2tu:

    front fascia repairs

    my front lower fascia is cracked. It looks like it is all one piece with the bumper, is there a way to replace the lower part only? Maybe an after market piece?

    Frame Recall Question

    I was looking at a car, the carfax shows this: Recall Results: Open Recall found*: Manufacturer Safety recall issued #998 STEERING AND DIFFERENTIAL FRAME REPAIR I guess it means that recall wasn't performed yet? Can you still bring a older gts in to get that fixed? thanks, matt
