programming key fob

I am having trouble programming key fob. Found green wire, grounded said wire. Key on,led flashing on dash. Hold buttons on fob down for 1 minute, nothing happens. Fob has new battery. What to check next?

Did you try your other fob? I don't know if anyone else has run into this or has had this happen but when I tryed to do the same thing I could only get one fob to sync with the car. Weird but they both worked after just snycing the one fob. There was nothing on the fobs to tell me which one was a primary and the other a secondary. I did this on my RT earlier this year. Hope this helps.
