Good morning! So I was hoping to get the attention of some experienced members here, as I have search through the forums and realized this information is a bit sensitive. Quick background. I own my own mobile automotive diagnostic company in rural south central Florida (some of you may race nearby at Sebring). I have been in automotive repair for about 25 years. I have multiple scan tools and can do a decent amount of OBD I diagnostics. I also pay a company with resources and "experts" in every brand. I had a customer contact me with a 1995 RT10 that had been sitting a couple years and really wanted it to run again so he could enjoy it. He had recently put a new battery in and of course, the "alarm set" is on and the Viper will crank but not start. He said previously when having this issue (the alarm set would be flashing), he would normally use the fobs to unlock the vehicle and it would start. This time the fobs would not work. I verified that the fuel pump can pump gas to the engine by manually activating pump. I was able to scan the ECM with my scanner with the OBD I connector, no codes. I checked the key fobs, one was in a little rough shape (the main one he uses) It had some corrosion on the board and the battery ground prongs fell off the circuit board when I opened it. The other fob had the same issue with the prongs. I re-soldered the prongs back onto both boards. I checked batteries. Batteries had over 3v. I then began trying to get the alarm off. tried disconnecting battery, reconnecting after 30 min, no good. I tried grounding the green wire from the RKE, no good (not sure if key needs to be on or not, so I may have messed up order. Tried unplugging RKE and VTSS, this got the vehicle to flash lights and the alarm to go off. Fobs still would not unlock. I called my support and they sent information they had on the GEN I security, but there was not a lot, as most of it has been removed from the Chrysler dealer information website. I'm also pretty sure the support expert had limited experience with these vehicles. I would love to get this gentleman back on the road, but I need someone with more experience to help me. Thank you everyone for your time and experience! Also, if you need to verify my business my full business name is Foraker Automotive Diagnostics Inc. and my Florida auto repair license/registration number is MV-113401

If you absolutely come up empty... I have all of these controllers, modules and fobs in stock, as well as a DRB3 OEM scan tool w/G1 cables & cards, and am within a remotely doable driving distance for a house call.

Once the dealer disconnected the alarm system the ‘93 started up properly. The downside is I have no alarm.
I was told the key fobs could not be reprogrammed. Don’t know if that’s true but the car is back running perfectly.

Can send fob/modules here... I can either get them working or replace them.

I just wanted to update the community on this post. I was able to get the alarm reset only to find out I had no power to the fuel pump relay. I started checking wiring and after removing the battery case, found the plug at the battery was disconnected. After 2 years of collecting dust in a garage, another Viper growled to life and is back on the street! A BIG THANK YOU to all who commented and called. Your knowledge and experience were invaluable. Steve-Indy, thank you for the call and guidance! Dan (Viper Specialty), thank you for the reply, I will be giving you a call to introduce myself and see about fobs for this vehicle. Mav, thank you for the message. The video highlighted some points I was able to use.
