Old Men Seem to Own Vipers, Why???

Uncle Paul is that you? I bought my first Viper in a previous life.

Viper production slowed by one third due to sluggish sales

Having cruised with Ferrari and Lambo owners, I have never received any snide comments or snooty behavior. Perhaps they have done it behind my back, but they aren't petty people so I highly doubt it. I think we are much harder on the car and its development (or lack thereof) than most people...

    New Viper teased?

So, serious question for Ralph. Don't you think it's about time to can your ENTIRE marketing department and start from scratch?

    New Viper teased?

I lol'd. I should happen though. Beth is worthless.

    New Viper teased?

Permanent mark may mean something never done before on a Viper. Perhaps some kind of forced induction?

Even with all the PS work done, it looks really good in silver.

Car and Driver Piles on the C7 vs Viper Bandwagon

99% of statistics are made up. Also, I just heard from a reliable source that 3.14% of new Vipers have circular problems.

Gen V has it's work cut out for it at the Ring...

The Z/28 is no joke. Imagine that car with another 300 lbs taken out of it. It's still a fat pig and turns those times despite its weight. ...and it has the tire the Viper should have gotten first.

    Jalopnik seems to get it

    I hope you're right. I will buy a GTS for 90k!

World's First Gen 5 Viper Twin Turbo By RSI

Speed isn't cheap, especially when you get not aftermarket love from Chrysler.

Saying bye and giving an apology

What he said. And this too. I read things like this about how Chrysler treats their highest end customers and how they continually **** up every marketing opportunity. I just don't understand it. Are they intentionally trying to sink their company? I love the car, but am so turned off by the...

Corvette VS. The World (Including The Viper)

Exactly this. The guy couldn't drive that well and was afraid of the Viper because it takes another level of skill he clearly doesn't have.

Viper production slowed by one third due to sluggish sales

I love Italian cars. They are rolling works of art and sounds beautiful as well. After all, Italy is the birthplace of opera so they better sound melodic. Some friends of mine have F cars/ Lambos and one tracks his 430 Scud a lot. He says the reliability has come a long way since the 360 and...

What can SRT engineers do to improve future Gen Vipers?

    1. Release the codes. 2. Rev to 7000 3. CCB option 4. DCT option (even though I prefer a manual)

Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Aution next week 3 Vipers on the aution block.

Gave me a good chuckle, Jon. Thanks. I may have been trolling on that one.

    Epic!!! (sorry if repost)

Are those 20s? Looks good. Filling up the tire gap really helps the stance of the car.

Gen V has it's work cut out for it at the Ring...

ACRucrazy - Wasn't that latest tested Zr1 a 2012 model? There have been some tweeks to the platform (albeit minor), to include tires, since '08. Edit: comparing the slow '08 Zr1 time to the current C7 is a bit comical imo. We all know what the Zr1 can do. Perhaps it was up on power, had better...

Let's try to help SRT save/sell the GEN V.

Excellent post. You could make the arguement that cars have become much more segregated in today's market. There is also a certain stigma associated with certain cars about their accessibility etc... and many buyers in the 100k segment expect A LOT in that price range. But I think you're on to...

Its worth saving, help john help you

Very true. Why should people wait on taking action (or at least planning action) before "everyone" knows what's going on/more facts get released. There is no denying the massive censorship and secrecy enacted by a few was tainting the experience of many; to include the once special relationship...
