CD changer ate my CDs
It seemed like it was already dead because it wasn't cycling at all anymore. But just now something happened that has me confused. I drove for an hour and stopped for gas. CD changer ate my CDs
I tried disconnecting the battery and pulled the fuse. Still not seeing the CDs. The changer didn't cycle this time after reconnecting the battery. I think you're right about it being jammed. Not sure what I can do short of taking the head unit out and pulling it apart.- msaba

Check user reviews on Amazon or other sites before buying. The Black Edition of the GoPro Hero 3 has issues. I bought one a couple weeks ago and I've had it crash on me several times already. 3.73s are going to be interesting after you're done with your build. Found out I have a 3.73 on mine and that explains a lot. 1st gear is pretty much useless. I can't keep traction at any speed. And 2nd only only hooks up if the weather's warm and asphalt is perfect. And that's on a stock motor...- msaba

A mouse went to town on the wires under the intake manifold. I'm having them patch that up. Also having them catalog all aftermarket parts on the car. Funny, just dropped off mine at Valaya this morning. I didn't see any other 06 coupes there. Curious, though - what flywheel are you getting? Ted was showing me the supposed only ones on the market now (red colored outer rim). He said they've been eating up clutch discs because of poor design...- msaba

Window Regulator -GEN 3/4 Archilles Heel
It's a little tight in there but definitely doable. So far the spit and glue fix I did about a year ago (on page 1 of this thread) has held up nicely. I'm sure if you did something like that it would help prevent the separation issue in the first place.- msaba

Window Regulator -GEN 3/4 Archilles Heel
I hate to say it but this looks a lot like the one that busted in my Gen 3. I also had the red sleeve "reinforcements" and the sleeve on one side had chipped and the tubing still separated from the plastic elbow piece. I bought my Gen 3 in 2010 so I'm guessing the prior owner had it replaced...- msaba

Anyone in the California Bay area put on Stripes for the viper?
I'd also be interested in the contact info for my gen 3. The stripe kits I've found online (e.g. from The Viper Store) don't look right on the intake duct and valance. Not sure if it's even possible to have the factory look with vinyl on a gen 3, but if someone around here figured it out, would...- msaba
