I dont think he would mind me revealing his name. Aaron Scott, owner of South Georgia Corvettes www.sgvette.com. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet. He adopted Vipers in 98 or 99 and added them to his line up.
I agree. Its not always a turn key and go operation. My AEM was showing signs of going away which was a pain till she finally died. You also have to know when you can punch it and when not to. Im sure you enjoy yours. Best of luck with it.
Thanks Roy. Your point is well made, when you have a well tuned TT you dont have to deal with adding this and that and you dont sweat anything on the street. It is a good feeling knowing you are at the top of the food chain while on the street. Good luck with yours and be safe.
Rest assured I LOVED my TT Viper. I only sold it for financial reasons. Actually, I still have a sick feeling in my stomach for letting it go. Why have a Viper if you cant have one of the baddest ones on the planet was my motto. I always thought it better to buy one already done to the max than...
My 2002 Final Edition Heffner Performance twin turbo has been sold to a well known tuner . I had called him for help because my AEM/EMS had gone bad. During the discussion I mentioned that it was for sale on this board and he said he was interested in buying it. Long story short, when he saw it...
When I turn the key on the check engine light does not come on hence no power to the fuel pump.
This happened before and I was told to unplug the three connectors in the AEM/EMS, wait a couple minutes to give time to reset. I did this and it worked. It has now happened again, tried same thing...
WOW! What a beautiful car. Yellow with black stripes has been one of my favorite color combos since I started looking at Vipers. At some point after a while you do decide to just keep the car. Thank you for the response.
Finally got my ad posted for the car. I know Im missing photos of the engine compartment but hopefully I can add them soon. My # is in the ad if you want to talk.
Thanks for looking.
It does have the H wheels. For plum to say I wont be pleased at the price when I sell it is presumptive. It is not for the faint of heart or wallet. Thanks for your input.
Thanks Roy for your imput. I have seen your posts on here many times and respect your opinion. If memory serves me correctly, I believe you are or were once a TT owner. The numbers you suggested are right where I need to be.
I can answer all those questions, just dont want to over step my boundries with this site by advertising here before purchasing the classified ad. I guess I was just asking if many guys are seeking TT cars . I can say it is a beautiful 02 F.E. 510 stroker,1100h.p. on pump, 1400h.p. on race. 5885...
I know you guys stay on top of things much more than I do, so your imput is needed. I will be listing my 2002 F.E. on this site as soon as my son can post it for me. Just wondering what the market is for this baby.
O.K., you say I need a boost guage for my TT. What are the best ones for this application? I really dont know how much its making so I need to be sure the guage will read it in case its making a bunch. Still trying to get answers from Heffners.
Thank all of you for your posts. I hate to admit it but I dont have a clue what a iab valve is so I dont know if its making noise or not. Please explain.
I also dont know how much boost its running because it doesnt have a boost guage. I have spoken with Chris today at Heffners Performance and...
Hi Frog, I have the exact same problem with my 02 F.E.TT. Its really a pain watching the temp. gauge more than the road.
I havent put many miles on mine but have replaced relays twice. Do you think a good auto electric shop could do this?
