I have a 1998 rt/10 with air, it's not for sale but I don't think you will find very many at that price, I could be wrong but I think the cars with air started with the 94, 95 model and it was an option.
My 98 RT/10 has the pigtail connected to the battery and it comes up thru the trunk floor, nicely done, rubber grommet seals the hole, all I need to do is plug the one way connector in, I put a shop rag on the trunk latch so the trunk don't latch and it's good.
Did you check with discount tire? I got a set of pilots for my 98 last year, if not maybe try nitto invo's had them on my scat pack 275 front 315 rear 20 inch worked well.
After reading there requirements I would waste my time or money on them, I have michelin pilots on my RT/10 with no such requirements and I have nitto invo's on my scatpack charger also without any storage requirements, but both have the same don't drive at temperature under 40 without warming...
Check with Prefix in auburn hills Michigan, they have engines on stands in show room, they did alot of production work on vipers when they were in production, they build stock to highly modified engines, I would recommend.
I suppose if you race the car repairing would be best, but on my 98 rt/10 I don't race anymore so the replacement from rock auto worked out fine for front and rear and all is fine 5 years later.
I have a 1998 rt/10 and a few years ago I needed some ac work, many of the lines for the ac are stocked parts at your dodge dealer because they used a lot of off the shelf parts from other models, ac lines are one of them.
Went thru the forums and couldn't find the answer so here goes, some of my zerk fittings are bad on my gen 2 rt 10, I'm replacing them all, anyone know what size they are?
The tires are dated, they dont recommend using them after 6 years because the rubber gets hard and they should be replaced, after 10 years my tire dealer wont even touch them for safety reasons.
Have built a few hot rods and modified cars over the years it never is for a profit it is a love of the project or car or talent of the people involved, not many understand but for a person that gets a much satisfaction from restoring as driving this could be a worthwhile project.
The owner may be right about the 20k value, it is worth that in parts alone if the body panals are useable or repairable, I have a 98 rt/10 and I have checked on hoods and a repairable one is under 10k new about 18k, according to the numbers I have there were only 362 98 rt/10 made
