My 98 R/T 10 has 29,243 miles, I'm planning on replacing plugs and wires, any problems I should know about? How involved is this project?

Remove the blower inlet housing on the passenger side. Should be 2 screws and 2 bolts. A long extension and a u-joint make it easier to access the rear 2 plugs on both banks. Keep track of the plugs by cylinder and look for anomalies to investigate further.

I highly recommend what Dean said. But to build off it, remove the radiator tank too. It will allow the 2 and 4 plugs to come out easier as well. The LH bank will be a cake walk compared to RH bank.

I would NEVER remove the header tank unnecessarily. It's jut a little tight getting to #2 and #4. I also remove the plug wire looms from the studs.

If you don't know how old the wires are, consider replace them too. Use the SRT-10 plug, it is better than the original. Champ 438, RC12ECC
