Sounds like something in the gauge cluster board would be my thought. A solder reflow of the board may fix this. Sometimes there is a not so great connection on the board that can cause intermittent issues (depending on temperature, humidity, ect). Not sure how hard the cluster is to pull out...
Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation. I have been in touch with multiple emails to/from badsnek and he has given me a lot of information.. The supercharger kit should arrive this week and I also ordered the snow performance stage 2 **** kit which will be installed at the same time.. I have...
Is the JTEC part of HP Tuners? I am a bit confused about that one. I think for now I would sit on the base setup (670hp). To run this I should be good with just tweaking to the ecu for fuel and run a colder plug? Any additional info on the JTEC tuning?
For the 670 this is all fine with the...
Hello all,
I bought my 04 Mamba Viper a year ago. I am considering doing a paxton kit on the car. I would like to install myself and then hopefully work with a tuner to get it dialed in for fueling (I live in Calgary Alberta high altitude). I have seen kits that are tuner kits and also kits...
Its not too hard to do yourself. it is a bit of a pain in the butt to get back in and get the bolts in with the lowering kit as it completely removes the rails so you cannot move the seat forward and back. I figure it took me a couple hours to get the lowering seat bracket in. The seats take...
I did this recently. It's the ipsco lowering kit. I'm about 6'4" and am all torso so driving with the top up did not give me any space and I was constantly bending to see traffic lights. With the lowering kit I can easily drive with the roof up and gives me better visibility with the top down as...
I just wanted to add to this as I completed this on my 04 vert this weekend..
Total time for me was about 3 hours (not a lot room in there) including the oil change. I strongly suggest doing the lines with the oil filter off.. I had already prefilled the filter with fresh oil and reinstalled...
Yeah I'm a lot more likely to go with a set of forged wheels for the weight savings (unsprung weight). I've had some low production cars (Gallardo) although seemed like I didn't have any issues finding rims as I had a few different sets that I was able to find locally..
I'm not a fan of the...
My biggest concern is the availability of the tires for the car (not necessarily the size of the rear tires). Ive run many cars with much more power and way smaller tires and havent had an issue (although every car setup is different and for inexperienced drivers I am sure you can get the tires...
Hello,
I purchased my 04 mamba srt10 a month or so ago and have already gone into some modifications. My original thought was to keep the car for a year and maybe sell it next year. Time is running out to enjoy large displacement engines. Although the more I drive the car I think it is going to...
Mine is an 04.. I believe they have the same dash so that one I linked would work for you
Edit: I did have to cut a small amount of the plastic behind the stock head unit to have it fit
List of equipment..

I picked the cheapest unit that had wireless car play. Screen is small (especially in comparison to my 2023 Silverado) but still very usable.

Wiring was actually quite easy. I can send some pics tomorrow or later this week l. Basically I tapped into reverse light (I believe it was white/green wire or driver taillight). I then ran that up along with the factory wiring and I took the ground off the connector on the trunk for the latch...
I was considering going with the double din setup as well but decided against it in case I ever sell the car and the owner wants it back to stock. I did some searching and found this unit (same as many other similar year dodges)...
Just went out again to play around with it and take some photos and it seems like if I unlatch and put a bit more pressure on the latch it will actually unlatch and stay more vertical so I can just close it without having to use my finger to get it locked in.. I didn't want to put any pressure...
Hello all, I've had my new to me mamba edition srt-10 for about a month now. It's got about 40k miles and I'm slowing addressing all the small little issues that I've found. I replaced the head unit with a wireless car play plug and play solution and added a backup camera. I made some -10an...
Fobs should be able to be programmed by yourself. I think the procedure is in the manual or maybe it was just online. Ive done it on a bunch of older cars. Ive also been able to program some prox. keys on new vehicles with my Autel scanner.
Yeah I ordered two oem fobs and two of the "switchblade" cases posted above from ebay. Ill see if I can have a couple standard dodge keys cut as spares and keep the original key with the logo.
Thanks. Im curious if maybe there is a compatible option with the fob and key in one piece? Ill do some more research and will most likely order a couple of the blank keys you listed above.
Thanks
