For those of you that want to experience more the double the acceleration of the viper you have to experience the Kingda Ka Roller Coaster in Six Flags Great Adventure NJ. They are not kidding when they call this a high thrill ride. This is the fastest and highest roller coaster to date.
The coaster of 20 people starts from a dead stop and accelerates to 128 in 3.5 sec. down a straight horizontal track for a little less than 1/4 mile and then heads straight up 500 feet high then down 500 feet in a corksrew and heads over a gradual incline and decline giving large zero gravity time. When you get off this ride your head is buzzing like neon leaving a instant dull headache. This ride I think is at the physical limit of what the majority of the public that rides it can handle. For you adrenaline junkies the acceleration is just unmatched and can't be put into words. For those going to check it out get the speed pass Q-bot so you don't have to wait on line for more than 1/2 hour. The regular line is 2 1/2 to 3 hours wait.
