Thanks to JonB for shipping this to me pretty darn quickly!

I got tired of hitting my knee on the console... and I was tired of slouching over to see out the rear-view. Sure I could have lowered the mirror (good tip JonB!) but that doesn't help the knee situation.

So I pulled the drivers side seat out and cleaned under there... (it was about time. even found the radar detector that I had thought was stolen! Now I have 2 V-1s... details...)

DO THIS MOD! Even though I'm 6'0", I can't believe how much one inch makes a difference! Installation took about 30 minutes and the brackets fit perfectly!

Now I sit exactly where I should have been for the past 4.5 years!

BTW - This is the northwind engineering seat lowering kit.

He most certainly does!

My wife is surprised that I'd even _think_ about getting rid of the second V-1... She's convinced me to keep it in the _other_ car.

The brackets fit perfectly? You didn't have a bolt jutting into the floor?

Nope. It fit perfectly in my 99 RT/10.
