This is really intriguing! I've never liked how long the pedal travel on my 04 seemed to be, but never thought about trying to change it. Seems like a pretty neat idea and even better that it's not a permanent mod. Curious how much heavier the pedal feels with it (I know by the math it's going to take more effort, but not sure what that translates to as far as actual feel).

My wife has a 2015 Hellcat (MT6 of course) feels like that. Firm but not heavy. It is much better. Easy to install, after you get standing on your head in the footwell! If you pull the seat it would be super easy.

I was driving my dad's Scat Pack Challenger the other day and trying to wrap my head around the clutch. It's interesting because to me it's both light and heavy at the same time. I think it's more that it was very very smooth to press, but heavy. So it wasn't "stiff" in the sense of having a lot of drag while pressing it down, but holding it down did make my leg feel more tired than with my other vehicles. Some of that might be that I just didn't reset the seat for my preferences, so I think I was keeping my leg more bent than I have it set up in my Viper and Dart where my leg is straighter when the pedal is all the way down. I've never thought the Viper one was all that heavy, just long. Though driving it in a parade made me rethink whether it was heavy or not, lol. The Dart is kind of the opposite of the Challenger where the pedal has a little more drag, but maybe less spring. It is a hydraulic conversion and a T56 setup, so should be pretty similar overall, though the motion ratio is sort of whatever it ended up as based on where I could mount stuff.

As for the torque wrench, I wouldn't worry about it, but thanks for the offer. I'm not sure a number would actually tell me anything as it's really more just a before and after kind of comparison and something I'd have to feel myself. I am really tempted to just go ahead and pick up a bracket to give it a try myself though. I need my car back first, but hoping I'll finally get it back from the shop this week.
