I want to upgrade the brakes on my '99 RT/10 and would like to do it for under $3000, installed.

As such, what are my options?

The car will never be tracked. I do spirited driving on occasion and like to do sequential 0-100-0 sprints, and this is when I most notice how crap the stock brakes are.

I want to keep the stock 18" rims, as well.

Thanks!

40mm calipers would be an excellent choice for your "service" and are a direct replacement for your current brake, so no problem with 18" wheels. I honestly don't know of any 4-wheel kit that can be installed at your target price unless you gather most parts used. Don't get snookered into a bigger front brake only - the stock front brakes are already big enough. The current price includes your choice of red or black brake covers. Shop time to install is likely not more than an hour of labor.

The website also has instructions on how to do it yourself:

-you're a mechanic, then about an hour
-mechanically inclined about 1.5 hours
-have tools, will try it, about 2.0 hours

and you will get my phone number to call whenever. (It's on the website, too.) Swapping rear brakes is two bolts, pliers and hammer. ;)
