2003 seats in a 2001 viper

not sure which forum this belongs in.
I like the look of the 2003 seats.
will they work (fit) in a 2001?
They should i would think?? They look very similar.

Also does any dealership know the cost per seat?

I am inquiring on this before i consider any other new seats.

thank you.. because as i mentioned that would be the ideal
way for me to go. it has the nice slots for shoulder straps of the 5 pts.

otherwise. if it is a no then i can consider redoing my seats or going with venzano.

I called a friend at Johnson Control to see if that is possible. I probably will not hear back from him today, but as soon as I do I will post what he tells me.

Here is what Johnson Controls said. You can put the new seat in the old Viper (once they are available), but you will need to make some changes to the seat template. I guess the brackets are different, so you need to new hardware in addition to the seat to make it work. Hope this helps & sorry for the delay, I do have to work sometime.
