2010 key fob

Hey guys. I am a new owner of a 2010 Viper and I was looking to order a second key fob.
EBay is selling 03-10 Viper key fob with a box that plugs into the OBDii port($89). Others I’ve seen listed are for 03-09 without the OBDii programmer($20). Do you know if I need this additional programmer box for the 2010 or can I program it with my one remote I already have and buy the cheaper remote?

FYI: IF you have a functioning key fob for a Gen III or IV, you can add another fob by following the directions in your owners manual.

I just bought the $20 key fob for my 06' and used the instructions in the owner's manual successfully.
