2013 Gen V GTS, Key Fobs won’t look my doors when button depressed, also life of Toyo tires

When key fob depressed to lock my doors on my car they don’t lock, also I have approximately 25,000 miles on my car and has lots of rubber on them. My car is stored in a heated building during the winter parked on special rubber pads that don’t make a flat spot on the tire, I also purchased 2 complete sets of tires back in 2014 or 2015 when you could buy them for coat and they paid the shipping. These are also stored with my car, so I am wondering if the tires have to be changed due to age of tire while they look brand new.

I wouldn’t recommend riding on 10 year old tires. That being said, slow speed around the block(s) to keep the seals lubricated isn’t going to be an issue unless there is visible dry rot. The tire is on my 13 day code 2012 and I just changed them last year.. but then again the car is in climate controlled garage and I wasn’t driving it. I put new tires on and spend more time enjoying the car, all while knowing that I can run it with less chance of a blowout at 90mph.

I had a similar issue with my key fob. It wouldn’t open the doors, but of the doors were unlocked and you contacted the end of the key fob to the push button start, the car would in fact turn on. PUT A NEW BATTERY IN THE KEY FOB BEFORE CONSIDERING CHANGING THE BCM, just saying.

How do you replace the BCM and where can I purchase a new unit.

My tires don’t have dry rot and I drive my car from May - October in Edmonton Alberta Canada before the snow flies. Maybe I will put on 1 set of my newer tires but still they are also 10 years old, I think the tires still are ok because I had them in my heated garage and don’t see any breakdown of the shape or rubber.

MY1GTS—— I have a hook to buy OEM parts for my Viper through a local dealer. I went to buy a BCM because of my key fob issues. Before I did, I changed the battery and rest the fob. Everything works and I didn’t need to spend on a new BCM. It’s really not hard to change out, but you need a MOPAR computer to reprogram the car after, which ***** because no one else has it.​

MY1GTS... Before I did, I changed the battery and rest the fob. Everything works and I didn’t need to spend on a new BCM. It’s really not hard to change out, but you need a MOPAR computer to reprogram the car after, which ***** because no one else has it.​

Changing the battery nor 'resetting' fob doesn't require BCM reprogramming.
