'98 Roe Viper. 1st time to the dragstrip with this car!

Hey all. So I sold my Gen 3 SRT10 to get into this '98 Viper GTS with the Roe Supercharger. It has a 8lb pulley and water/**** injection and that is it! I'm still on factory headers/exhaust. It made 573whp/580wtq. This is the result of my first time out with the car on the drag strip! I was running on Michelin Pilot Sports 335/30/18's. PSI was dropped to 28. Did a nice, fat burnout about 5 seconds long. For the launch I slipped the clutch at 4500 rpms. This is what I was able to get. I am car #496 That run was my 6th run ever on the track with this Viper and my 12th run ever on a dragstrip. I was booted from the track after this run too lol

Thank you! It's a bit bitter sweet as I wanted to see 10's but it was a good shakedown. Next time I think a 5000rpm launch and some colder temps will do the trick

I guess anything faster than a 11.49 I need a cage?? Or a fire jacket?? Something like that. They gave me a warning threatening to kick me out if I go under 11.49 when I ran a 11.386 @ 125.86 with a 1.741 60'. I told them I wouldn't do it again buuuutt I did.

20-25 on street tires? Thank man! Yes I am still on stock half-shafts and stock 3.07 rear end

that was very good.I ran 11.08 with a paxton with my 2001 RT10 stock headers and corsa exhaust.it still has stock axles but i used BF goodrich drag radials and i was kick out at english town raceway
