When depressing the brake pedal I hear a whoosh sound of air in the ****-pit. Much like depressing an air foot pump. It only does it with the car running and after a couple pumps on the brake after turning it off. It has never done this before, and it started in my driveway when pulling back in the garage. I haven't road tested to see if my brakes are still functional. I plan to drive around the neighborhood to check shortly.

I am pretty sure it is a vacuum line that has come loose or something else that would leak air when depressing the brake. Car still idles fine. I tried to look up under the dash but cannot see anything. Does anyone have an 06 service manual that you can check to see what is up there that I should be looking for?

Tested the brakes and they are still operating fine. I called the Viper Tech at the dealership and he said he has seen this once before on an 05. It is most likely the brake booster which can be heard inside the car if it begins leaking. He is ordering a new one and I'll take the car in on Thursday for replacement if it is readily available. If it is something other than the brake booster I'll post an update.
