The two piece mopar front mask will protect from getting front dings and bug splats and is ok on the highway if you remember 2 things:
1) it acts like a vacuum and picks up some sand on the soft side so you should take it off and shake it out as needed to avoid scratches.
2) If you are driving at spirited speeds consider removing the top piece because it can flop about.
There are shorter aftermarket shift knobs and a post within the past 2 weeks mentions a piece that shortens the stock one also.
