Air-Water or Air-Air Paxton??

I have a huge 4core intercooler that I was going to use on my 92Typhoon but now its gone. I was wondering if I should stay with the Air to Water setup on my paxton and go with DLM upgrade for the water intercooler? Or try to make this 24"x12"x4" bad boy fix? Do the problems aka.(cooling and psi drop)out way the benefits?

One guy with a tuner TT GTS (recently for sale) said he initially had engine overheating problems due to a too-large intercooler blocking airflow to whatever radiator was in the car.. Things were much better when the IC was changed for a smaller one.

Yours looks like it'd just about cover up the entire front of the radiator.
